My foundation wearing was far and few during the last 2 years as I really didn’t bother with make up with all the mask wearing. It was nice to be able to try this out. I loved that it had spf and was long wearing. But with the colder weather my skin is quite dry and dehydrated and I feel it wasn’t quite right for my skin. I’ve tried Revlon foundation quite a number of years ago but with this one I may need to go a slightly darker tone as it wasn’t quite right to my tone. It did give me good coverage and a natural look that I was happy with but maybe something I could wear all day long

I wasn't too sure about this serum with the words resurfacing but the formula with Lime Pearl had me curious. I found a lot of the features appealing like that its not tested on animals, free from synthetic fragrances, colours, petroleum derived products, silicone oils and derivatives. All the ingredients were natural which is something I always look at when purchasing a new product. After a week I felt like my skin was smoother and brighter looking. You just need a few drop massaged into your skin twice a day to really see the effects of the serum.

I have never used Clinique products before and was keen to see how my skin would react to a new moisturiser. It glided on nicely and wasn't too thick for me. My skin is quite dehydrated so this replenishing hydrator was a benefit to my skin. It absorbed quickly and was a lightweight texture which are the kinds of moisturisers I prefer to use on my skin. Overall I liked it and look forward to keep using Clinique Moisture Surge in my daily routine for the next couple of weeks to see the differences in my skin.

I have used a few serums and I was keen to trial out a new brand which I have never heard of. All the ingredients sounded interesting and were new to me. You usually just need one or two drops and massage it into your face and neck. My main skin concern is dryness so was happy that this serum targeted that. I found my skin looked smooth overnight and I used it underneath moisturiser during the day. I will have to keep using over the next few weeks to see if my skin remains hydrated especially with the changes in the weather

I had never heard of this brand before and the name and packaging was intriguing to me so I wanted this to be a good product. I use eye cream in my daily routine only once a day but to be honest I'm not really sure how my past eye creams are any different to one another or have been really effective. For me this was the same.Only a small amount is required for use. There was nothing really noticeable but maybe I have to give it a few weeks to see if there is any real improvement around the eye area.

I was only wearing a clear polish but my polish was starting to chip away so thought I would try removing it completely with this dip. I really didn't think it would remove the polish in one twist and go but it did. Nail came out clean with 2 seconds. I am curious to know how much more effort would be required for a brighter colour like red or pinks. This is convenient for anyone who is time poor or for someone like me who quite often puts way too much polish remover on the cotton ball. Could be handy for travel or just to keep in your handbag.

Instructions were to apply a coat every day for 5 days so I was keen to see if it would help strengthen my nails. I have eczema on my hands which have weakened my nails and don't paint my nails as often as I'd like because of work. I just applied it daily and left a nice shine on my nails. It's hard to say if it did strengthen my nails as I always leave them cut short. I look forward to using this as a base and top coat when I paint my nails with a coloured polish and would be good to use between coloured coats when you want to have a break from painting your nails.

I am always looking for a SPF 50 face cream and was interested to see what the kakadu plum and anti pollution barrier would do for my skin. With most face sunscreens it usually takes me a few days or weeks for my skin to adapt. My skin usually becomes dry around the nose/upper lip area when trying out a new face cream and this was no different. But after a week my skin dryness did clear up. The cream was thick and as my skin is prone to sweat in hot and humid temperatures my skin would prefer something a little thinner to apply to my face. It's great that's it's SPF 50 but would probably be more ideal for me to use in cooler temperatures.

I have never tried any Burt's bees products and was looking forward to trying out a new lip colour especially with all the mask wearing during the pandemic. At first application I didn't enjoy the peppermint oil. I found it a bit overwhelming and overpowering and too medicinal but after a few days I got used to it. It glides over quite evenly and you don't need much. It leaves a nice natural subtle colour on the lips and is less messier than other lip glosses and lipsticks I've owned when eating and drinking. I'd be happy to test out more colours from the range.

The positive of this straightener was that it was great that it didn't take long to heat up. But as I have thick hair the thinner width plates didn't really suit my hair. It took a lot longer than I'd like to spend on my hair compared to my old straightener. Features including temperature change are easy to use. If you want a very basic straightener and have short thin hair then this is good and also would be good for touch ups to keep hair smooth and straight. Also good for travel as its light and has its own pouch.
